BILLY SULLIVAN
BIO
(b. 1946) Billy Sullivan lives and works in New York City and East Hampton, NY. He has exhibited nationally and internationally since 1971. His work was included in the 2006 Whitney Biennial, “Day for Night,” and in 2007 his first museum survey was exhibited at Guild Hall of East Hampton. In 2012, Sullivan was included in Open Windows, curated by Carroll Dunham at the Addison Gallery of American Art at Phillips Academy, Andover, MA. Sullivan’s art is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; and The Ellipse Foundation Contemporary Art Collection, Portugal, among many other public and private collections.
