(b. 1963 New Haven, Connecticut) Interested in the suppressed libido of art, architecture and design, Tom Burr’s art encompasses installation, photography, sculpture, and drawing. Simultaneously, he references public space, and the psychological and social issues that surround it. He is influenced by minimalism and conceptual art.
